Float value
Every CS2 skin has a float between 0 and 1 that decides how worn it looks. Lower means cleaner. Some skins can't reach the full range — a few never come in Factory New, others never look truly battered.
The five wear levels
Factory New (FN): 0.00–0.07. Minimal Wear (MW): 0.07–0.15. Field-Tested (FT): 0.15–0.38. Well-Worn (WW): 0.38–0.45. Battle-Scarred (BS): 0.45–1.00.
On DragonDrop each item shows its wear as a short badge (FN, MW, FT, WW, BS). For most skins we list one representative wear, usually Field-Tested.
Why wear changes the price
Cleaner copies are rarer and more sought after, so a Factory New skin can cost several times its Field-Tested version. Patterns, stickers and StatTrak counters move prices too. Item values on DragonDrop come from a market price snapshot and are fixed at the moment you receive the item.
