Frequently asked questions
Is DragonDrop real money?
No. It's a demo that runs on virtual coins. Coins can't be bought with real money and can't be cashed out, and items can't be withdrawn to Steam.
How do I get coins?
New accounts start with 25 coins. You can add more for free on the Payments page (the first top-up gets +10 %), redeem promo codes, open the free daily case, or sell items you've won.
Are the results random and fair?
Every result comes from a server seed whose hash you see before you play, combined with your own client seed and a counter. After rotating your seed on Provably fair you can recompute every roll yourself.
What are my chances of getting a knife?
Each case page lists the exact chance of every item. Knives and gloves are usually well under 1 %. Transparency shows the expected value of every case.
Do cases pay back more than they cost?
No. Paid cases are built to return about 90 % of their price on average, so over time you get back less than you spend. Treat it as entertainment.
What happens to items I win?
They go to your inventory. You can sell them for coins at their stored value, use 3–10 of them in a trade-up contract, or swap them in the exchanger.
How do case battles work?
2–4 players open the same cases. In normal mode the highest total value wins every item; in crazy mode the lowest total wins. Empty seats can be filled with bots. See Case battle.
What are gems?
Gems are earned automatically: one for every whole coin you spend. They open the event cases during the Dragon Festival.
How do levels and EXP cases work?
Spending coins earns experience. Higher levels unlock free EXP cases you can open once every 24 hours. See Level system.
Why can't I sign up?
You need a valid email, a password of at least 6 characters, and you must confirm you're 18 or older and accept the terms.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Write to us via Contact from the email on your account and we'll close it and delete your data.
Is DragonDrop connected to Valve or Steam?
No. DragonDrop is not affiliated with Valve. Skin names and images belong to Valve Corporation.
