In the demo
DragonDrop currently runs on virtual coins that can't be bought or cashed out, so no money passes through the site and it can't be used to move or launder funds.
Using the site for anything illegal, impersonating someone else, or creating accounts in another person's name is still forbidden and leads to account closure.
Before any real-money launch
Real-money operation is only possible under a gambling licence. Before that, DragonDrop will put in place the anti-money-laundering programme the licence and the law require, including:
- Identity verification (KYC) and age checks before deposits and withdrawals.
- Source-of-funds checks above set thresholds, and enhanced checks for higher-risk customers.
- Screening against sanctions and politically exposed persons lists.
- Transaction monitoring for unusual patterns, and reporting suspicious activity to the competent authority.
- Blocking players from countries where the service is not licensed.
- Record keeping and staff training.
