What we store

  • Account: your email, nickname and a scrypt hash of your password. We never store the password itself.
  • Referral: your referral code and, if you signed up with someone's code, who referred you.
  • Gameplay history: cases opened, battles, contracts, exchanges, items received and sold, demo top-ups, promo codes used, pass rewards, piggy bank and affiliate claims, and your provably-fair seeds.
  • Things you send us: reviews you publish and messages from the contact, services and bug-bounty forms.

Cookies and browser storage

  • dd_session — keeps you logged in (30 days, HTTP-only). Only a SHA-256 hash of the token is stored on our side.
  • dd_lang — your language choice (1 year).
  • dd_unlock — access to the site while it is locked for development (30 days).
  • Browser storage: dd_banner remembers that you closed the login banner, dd_ref keeps a referral code from a link until you sign up. Both stay in your browser.

Why we use it

To run your account, show your balance and items, let you verify every result, apply promotions and referral rewards, prevent abuse, and answer your messages. We don't use your data for advertising and we don't sell it.

Third parties

We run no third-party analytics or advertising. Skin images are loaded from Steam's image servers, so your browser connects to Valve's CDN when it shows them. Fonts are served from our own domain.

How long we keep it

As long as your account exists. When you ask us to close your account we delete your personal data, except records we must keep for legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, or object to its use, by writing to us via Contact from the email on your account. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
